One day's tomato harvest. We're getting about a 5-gallon bucket of them
every 2 or 3 days! For dinner tonight, we had sliced tomatoes, salad with
tomatoes in it, macaroni with cheese, mushrooms, and tomatoes, and grilled
fish. Anyone have a good tomato recipe to share?

This stuff is so freaking good.

Tomato Pie:

Unbaked deep-dish pie shell

Layer following ingredients in this order:

Spread mayo over bottom of crust
Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over Myracle Whip
Sliced vine ripe tomatoes
Thinly sliced onions (OPTIONAL)
Salt/pepper
Shredded Swiss cheese
Crumbled bacon – fried crisp (Try using Maple flavored bacon to give it a distinctively different taste)
Sliced Tomatoes
Sliced onions
Salt/Pepper
Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
Crumbled Ritz crackers over top

Bake in preheated 350-degree oven for 35-45 mins or until cheese is melted.

Wow, those are some incredible looking beauties! What I do is blanche them in boiling water to remove the skin, then put them whole into freezer bags to make spaghetti sauce all winter long. When you plop them frozen into the pot for sauce, they just dissolve - better than canned tomatoes, for sure!

Yum!! My Mom has tomato plants taking over her yard, we've been trying to find things to do with them and how to save them-- I'm not helpful because I tend to just eat them.

Do you have any ideas on how to save seeds from tomatoes to replant??
