I had a really, really, really shitty day today with the exception of lunch
at Fonda el Refugio in Mexico City, featuring guacamole and salsa verde and
quesadillas with huitlacoche. Oh yum.

i love mexico city! haven't been except when I was a kid. Is it safe? are you with armed guards? I hear horror stories of it now. Try to make it to the National Museum. It's wonderful!
I love Mexico City too...went with my sister many years ago. It was a fascinating mix of abject poverty and sophistication as I remember. And we had an incredible meal at a French restaurant - Les Moustache. Bridget
we're in a very posh, green area - don't know if i'll get to see much unfortunately as I'm working and getting over a bad cold
