this is my sister candice in the beginning stages of making a batik for an
installation for LACE (Ladies Awareness of Cancer Education) this weekend.
she initially entered two paintings into the fundraiser, but as soon as they
found out she did batik, they immediately asked her to do an installation,
and teach a course next semester! yay!! we fight and have a lot of sibling
rivalry, but her artistic talent always gets my goat.
