Hey, thanks, everybody. I'm quite proud of myself. And Dawn, I don't even sew one costume a year, this is a first for me. And if anybody with any technical savvy were to examine it from a yard away, they'd be horrified at the workmanship. But she likes it, it fits (thanks to the lacing, mostly) and that's what matters to me. She may have to wear it for Halloween, though... we'll see. Mommy's sewing patience is used up for a good long while!
To explain - this is Hayley's dress for the Madrigal Choir she's in; they're scheduled for a few different performances throughout the winter. I decided to make her dress, and almost gave up a few times, but finished in the nick of time...

Good Job Mama!
Do you also stick to the "I only sew one costume a year, so this is your all purpose costume until October 2010"?
