M is a ham. A serious, serious ham. Three years ago she started going to
auditions and open calls (there are, surprisingly, quite a few in Phoenix).
Most of them are frauds, "schools" and "agents" who want you to pay them for
the chance that they might, someday, maybe find you work. Of course, if
you're PAYING them, where's the incentive for them to find you work that
earns them commission?
This weeks audition was also for an "agency" but instead of wanting to
charge us, they called back and said that they have enough faith in M's
ability that all fee's were waived and could she please begin with them this
weekend? Of course, she is insane with excitement.
Here she is "warming up" prior to her cold read.

I hope it went good for her. Also, I really like her hair! Esp. the color.
I love it that color too, but the agent said she needs a 'make under' because she looks older than 14 and "in the industry" they want you to look your calender age or younger!
Way to go M!!! So, how did she do? BTW - her hair looks awesome (tell her the blogosphere likes!!)
