This is a picture from outside my office window, which is also just 5
minutes around the corner from my house. Preparations are underway for the
big fair and fireworks display that sets up for Guy Fawkes. I hate Guy
Fawkes. Its an English celebration where idiots get drunk and let off
fireworks - google it. If the fireworks were contained to the professionally
arranged events like this one, it would be fine. But unfortunately people
let them off in parks, their own backyards, dogs and cats get frightened and
their are always accidents....and it goes on for days before and after. They
introduced a law last year that they can only go on sale 3 days before the
actual day, to lessen the amount of accidents, etc...let's see what happens
tomorrow.

My goodness! If I had a view like that out my window at work, I'd never get any work done.... Probably going to get even more interesting tomorrow. Sounds like a bit of a pain with all the people acting like idiots. :{
lol. I am not a fan of Guy Fawkes for a variety of reasons but I think you beat me in your passion against it! I think there are similar issues in the UK but not as many where I live in London fortunately.
