Judy 80/365

This is a child's roll top desk that my husband and I picked off a
neighbor's trash about 30 years ago. They were new owners cleaning out a
garage. I never got around to refinishing it until about 8 years ago. It
was painted with flat latex paint so it was a mess to strip, Some parts
(deep red in picture) I just gave up on and used a colonial color. We
traced it to a company in Maine who are no longer making these or the sleds
that were a big seller for them. I often wonder what he would have to say
about the finished product. We hauled it to three different houses as I
really liked it, just didn't have the time to work on it. I use it for
storing greeting cards etc. as it sits in my dining area.
