The man's cell phone chilling in the rice trying to dry out. He left his
pants containing his cell phone *right* next to the pile of laundry to be
done on the bed. I was not aware that the pants were not to be washed. He
discovered this just as the load was done washing. This is the result.

This trick totally worked for me too.
You know Karen, it was my keeping the secret of washing my husbands electronic organizer in the mid 90's...and then wedging it under the tire of his car ( in the rain) to make him believe that HE had dropped it and run it over rather than MY washing of the pants which had destroyed his beloved Organizer...
That was the basis of True Wife Confessions.....
I told him on our 10th wedding anniversary. He hadn't suspected a thing....
