Momma guinea hen calls her wayward offspring to get up the courage to fly
over the fence and join her. It finally did then couldn't get the courage
to fly back over when she left.
Only when I walked toward it did it decide to fly out again. Guess that
explains their tiny brains. The corgis were in the house going absolutely
crazy!

Oh guinea hens... they are all kinds of special! We had some wild turkies that shared the behavior you described.
