This is a cheat as my mom took the photo and not me. But...this is a young
deer that was born inside one of my mom's pastures, and therefore it's
trapped in there for now. The mama deer has to jump in every so often to
feed it. In the meanwhile, mom gets to repair electric fence many times as
the mama deer takes it down on her trips in and out of the pasture.

you just need my son, Z, to rescue him/her. :) if you didn't see it, earlier this summer i posted a pic of him catching a baby deer that got stranded in our backyard. came over the river and then it rained and the river rose and the baby couldn't jump the fence. he caught it and put it over the fence so the mama could get it.
