We went to a season kick-off at our brand spanking new football stadium on
campus. Even though I got a couple of decent shots of the pristine stadium,
this pic of the sousaphones in the marching band took priority. I love
marching bands.

So do I. My oldest played percussion for the first 3 years of high school and when he dropped out to play tennis, I felt so cheated. Nice, shiny sousaphones.
Did you know that John Philip Sousa invented the sousaphone?? I just read that 5 days ago in my daily Intellectual Devotional readings. I may not be getting any smarter but my head is getting filled with these useless facts :)
